The brief
The homeowner had a clear vision: a bathroom at the top of the house with the feel of a boutique hotel. They knew exactly the style they wanted. Our job was to make the space live up to it.
The work
We vaulted the ceiling to open up the roof space, installed chunky timber beams and fitted a huge skylight. Then the bathroom was fitted out: a freestanding stone bath positioned directly beneath the skylight, with a walk-in shower alongside.
The same approach carried through to the landing, which we also vaulted, with a second skylight, timber beams and traditional panelling.
The result
A bright, high-ceilinged bathroom and landing that feel far bigger than the footprint suggests. “Hotel vibes all round,” as we put it at the time.
